As the founder he enjoys a certain level of prestige and has most of the knowledge needed for their survival. Tim Walters Colonel Tim Walters is the leader of the Northwest Militia, by rank. He is a natural leader and an American hero. Decorated twice, he holds the Purple Heart and the Congressional Medal of Honor. He led 45 militia soldiers in his group. Rob will not just hassass the enemy! He plans to take back what is ours! Marshal Quade Marshal is second in command in the Northwest Militia. He was also a decorated war hero and had served with Tim Walters in Vietnam. He is also an electronics specialist and can build such equipment. | Elizabeth and Gary Elizabeth is an escaped prisoner and the best friend of Janis Mason. She is a realist always ... Elizabeth knew Janis' secret but would never reveal it to anyone. Gary is one of Robert's captains. A position of authority, especially when Robert was gone. Gary marries Elizabeth shortly after she arrives at the Hold. Mark Jackson Mark is one of Robert's captains. Often he is second in command on missions and as with all the captains, he had a rotating schedule, as captain in charge at the hold. Also as with all Safe Hold captains, he kept up on the satellite schedules to insure their safe passage. Jeb Malkia Jeb is the leader of a secret group of resistant Christians that trade with Safe Hold. This group is in Denver where it is much more dangerous. Jeb's group are suppliers of merchandise of almost any type. As with all the rebel groups, they help other people escape out of the city when necessary. Jack Engles Jack is the resident engineer at Safe Hold. In fact he is the only engineer in the Holds. He is responsible for designing and building the Holds. Jack is a work-aholic and is always in demand, and he loves it. | Janis Mason Janis is an escaped prisoner, and in fact she led the escaped group of people to Colorado. She is ex-military but could not have led the escapees without the help of her friend Elizabeth. Janis has a problem that she cannot overcome. When she meets Robert she melts and falls completely in love with him at first sight! She cannot help herself, and she doesn't want to! Her military career left a lot to be desired, although she did make Colonel! Actually very impressive for a woman! She was convicted of disobeying a direct order, at the time of the New World Order takeover. Paul Reamer Paul was an escapee from a prison camp. Formerly he was a pilot, before the take over. He loves flying and misses it. Jim Walde Jim, like may of the people of the Holds is an escaped prisoner. He leads a group of ragtag escapees through the mountains. Jim is a former physicist, before the take over. He refused to cooperate with the enemy. |
